We urge everyone who calls Keystone their spiritual home to gain a fresh view of the mercy of God in their lives and sacrificially align their priorities to new levels of dependence, faith, and generosity.

SHIFT Mission: $8 Million

Our “SHIFT Mission” represents two years of our normal ministry budget. SHIFT will enable us to continue to move forward with the life-changing ministries that have made us who we are today.

SHIFT Vision: $4 Million

Our “SHIFT Vision” represents a collection of updates and improvements across our ministries. SHIFT will strengthen existing programs and provide new tools that help each ministry grow and serve more effectively.

SHIFT Vision Breakdown

Shift Sending Impact - $1.1 Million

Our greatest joy is telling others about the mercy that has changed us. Keystone is strategically positioned to build on the foundation of sending church plants and engaging in missions. We launched the Development Track this fall to help equip Keystone as everyday missionaries, and supported the launch Kintsugi Church in Osaka, Japan. We have plans to plant churches in 2027 and 2028, but our work isn’t finished. This year, SHIFT resources will be allocated to our global partners, church planting staff, residents, and housing.

Shift Facility Impact - $2.9 Million

Buildings will never be our goal, but they are needed tools to facilitate the mission God has given us. The growth that we saw in many of our ministries exceeded our current building capacity. Since launching SHIFT last fall, we added four additional kids classrooms and increased the capacity of the gathering space in The Venue, along with expanding the East entrance. This year, our goal is to build a playground for our next-generation ministries, pay down the construction loan, and allocate funds for future facility needs.

What God Has Done So Far Through SHIFT

Expanded Our Facility
In the past year because of SHIFT, we were able to expand our facility impact by adding four kids classrooms, and expanding the Venue and the East entrance. This has allowed room for 80 more kids each service on Sunday, including welcoming back our 3rd-5th graders. It also allowed for 120 more people to be in the Venue, along with windows, sound-proofing, and external doors.

Launched a New Ministry
The impact has been felt beyond just the facility. In September, we launched a new ministry called Development Track, to train the people of Keystone as everyday missionaries wherever they live, learn, work, and play. Every semester, we’re offering several different kinds of classes for people to deepen their faith, discover their calling, and engage with the world around them.

Increased our Sending
We’ve also been able to make an impact in our sending. In 2027, we’ll plant a church in Greenville, NC, and in 2028, we’ll plant another church (location TBD). Globally, we’re sending more people on short-term mission trips and supporting missionaries around the world, including helping support the launch of Kintsugi Church in Osaka, Japan.

Where We Are Going

Playground
In Spring 2027, we are going to build a playground outside of our building. This will be used throughout the week for events that include childcare, playgroups, and other opportunities.

Resident Program
Residents at Keystone are a key part of our ministry staff, while also fundraising part of their salary and working towards either a master’s or bachelor’s degree from a seminary partner. Each residency lasts for two years, with a goal of setting them up for a career in ministry. With the additional funds through SHIFT, our plan is to hire more residents in needed areas and purchase a home where residents could stay during their two years in the program.

Global Missions
We will continue to support church planting efforts around the world, specifically in India, Turkey, and Iraq, as well as increasing our sending capacity as a church.
